A |
| Allspice is dried, unripe berry of Pimenta Dioica, a Caribbean and
Central American tree of the myrtle family. It tastes like a combination
of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Allspice is used in seasonings, soups,
stews and curries. |

Bay Leaf comes from evergreen bay laurel tree. Bay
leaves are grown in the Mediterranean region. Bay leaves are used in
stews, vegetables, soups and meats.
Basil is a member of the mint family, it can be used
fresh or dried. Basil is used to flavour salads, soups, lamb, fish,
eggs, cheese and potatoes. |
