All American Egg Rolls – Low Cholesterol

  • 1 qt cooking oil
  • 15 each fresh garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 4 each Polish sausage
  • 1 each egg, large
  • 1/4 teaspoon milk
  • 8 lg egg roll wrappers*
  • chopped parsely


Step 1

Begin by heating oil in your frying pan to medium-high, approximately 350 degrees. Mix mayonnaise, garlic, mustard and cheese in blender until smooth. take the mixture out of the blender.

Step 2

Slice the Polish sausage into a couple of shorter pieces and score lengthwise. Whip egg and milk using fork up to smooth point. Put each half of sausage at end of egg roll wrapper, spread a bit of mustard sauce and roll sausage into wrapper, closing edges with egg blend.

Step 3

Cook in hot oil up to the point lightly browned on every side. Decorate with sliced parsley and dish out with added mustard sauce.
