Cold Potato Salad – Cholesterol Free

For those that want to avoid cholesterol in their diet, this easy-to-follow, creamy and delicious cholesterol free cold potato salad recipe is perfect.


  • 6 each potatoe, large
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 each onion, minced
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard, prepared
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon dill seed


Step 1

For this recipe, it is recommended to peel and cut potatoes in quarter. Then cook the sliced potatoes in a boiling salted water in a medium soup pot until soft. Drain, and reserve 3/4 cup of potato water for later use. Dice the tender potatoes.

Step 2

Add oil and chopped onion; toss smoothly. Now, take a smaller saucepan and pour in the 3/4 cup potato water reserved previously to a boil; pour over onion and potatoes. Maintain at room heat range for a couple to three hours.

Step 3

Stir in mustard,, vinegar, sugar and dill seed to obtain a creamy potato salad will be creamy. Dish out at comfortable indoor temperature.
